hostap drivers 1.2 not updating /proc/net/wireless

I noticed my wireless stats aren't updating in /proc, however calling iwconfig 
gives the right link quality readings the noise and signal don't change at 
all. /proc doesn't get updated until I call iwconfig.

Originally I thought this was a kernel only fluke since I'm running 
2.6.0-test11 right now, but my vanialla orinoco drivers update /proc fine 
with my orinoco silver card.
