what is the difference between the wlan0, wlan0ap and wlan0sta? i think
i have a big problem here.... i have build up my pc as a hostap (with
the driver hostap-0.0.1 and linux-2.4.20). then when it is time to check
if everything is fine with my access point, i assigned a essid for my
accesspoint as "dmr' having an IP add of 192.168.41.5 and it is in a
Master mode, then i configured a base station to act as my client with
"dmr" as its essid having an IP add of 192.168.41.2.

here comes the problem... the base station cannot ping the access point.
i really need some help over here. for additional information, here's
what my wlan0 looks..

bash #iwconfig
