hostap.0.0.1 under linux-2.4.20

i have successfully performed make plx and make install_plx but when i 
load the modules

bash# modprobe hostap_plx

it resulted to such errors:

/lib/modules/2.4.20Anakin.21apr03/net/hostap_plx.o: init_module: No such 
device

what seems to be the problem with the system?
