Discontinuation of Linux 2.2.x and old wireless extensions support

Big blip just happened - wireless died resulting from:

wlan0: MAC port 0 enabling failed
prism2_tx_timeout: wake up queue

wlan0: prism2_tx: hw not ready - skipping
wlan0: prism2_tx: hw not ready - skipping
wlan0: prism2_tx: hw not ready - skipping

etc.

I did a iwpriv reset to get it going again.
