DHCP

I use DHCP on the head (as of a few days ago) and versions since the Sept
crasher fix, it seems to work fine.

What dhcp server are you using?
Is the DHCP server running on the wlan interface? In my case it's not, I
route/NAT my wireless into my wired segment so I run a dhcp relay agent
which relays onto my master dhcp server (which registers the ip into the
DNS) so I can use host names to route to the wireless box. Works like a
dream and completely dynamic.
I have used a local dhcp server bound to the wlan interface on the AP box
when I was testing, that works fine as well. I use the ISC DHCP server.
Mail me off the list if you want some more help. I don't really think you
are having a hostap issue here (but you may, who knows).
