Viabiliy of prism hooks

Hi everybody,

I suppose this question was asked at the early beginning of the hostap project 
but it's hard to find the question in the archive and, of course, the answer.

Well, hostap, thanks to Jouni, is becoming more and more critical to a few 
applications.

So what is the warranty that tomorrow or the day after, a new version of the 
secondary firmware, a new version of the primary firmware (I don't know what 
is the exact possibility of each) or a new version of the chipset (v. 4) 
won't forbid the way hostap hooks in the system ? 

An so far ruins all the benefit hostap has for us all.
