Does Netgear MA311 work with HostAP ?

Hello,

I'm thinking of using Netgear's MA311 PCI card for my wireless network
(Linux Mandrake 9.0) (rather than the PCMCIA MA401 + PCMCIA/PCI adapter)

This card has a Prism 2.0 chipset, it seems, but their tech support says 
that software AP is "not supported".

I don't have any more details yet.

Does anyone use this card ?
