Just use the Prism WinUpdate utility to dump the Firmware to file.
You won't be able to use this as a RAM upload tho...so there's not much
use..cept you can mabe make the .HEX file avail for others to
download..instead of having to install the driver.

Two things...

1. Aren't those two images in flash on the card? Which means that once
updated with the Windows driver, you should be able to move it to a Linux
box and still have the updated firmware images?
2. What about extracting the images from the Windows driver file? I've
never looked at a firmware image, but the driver (PRISMNDS.SYS) contains a
bunch of lines like:
S40500003A7E42
S311FF200000050001001500010001000100B1
S313FF2000000600020000000300010004000400B9
S313FF2000000600020001000200020001000100BE
S30BFF200000020003000000D0
S311FF200000050004000A800000010000003B
[...]
S317FF2000000700018041463031303130312E484558000084
S705003F0000BB
S311FF00000003000000B8127E000C00000098
[...]
S311FF100000FE177E0002000000000000004A
S315007E0000006490FF00F720FE006491FF01F720FE5A
S315007E0010006492FF02F720FE006493FF03F720FE42
[...]

Which look very much like firmware flashing instructions to me :-) Of
course, once would have to find which bits are each of the two images, but
anybody familiar with the firmware file format should be able to find that
pretty easily... Actually, a very very quick look at those lines seems to
indicate that it includes the images for:
AF010101.HEX
AB010101.HEX
PM010101.HEX
R1010504.HEX
RF010504.HEX
RU010504.HEX

(grep S317FF20000007 on the file and decode the hex and you should get the
above)

Don't ask me what they are, though :-) And I have no idea either of the
whereabouts of the primary firmware, but I believe it didn't change the one
you had on the card, probably for some compatibility issue... Wild guess:
it has images for primary 1.1.1 and station 1.5.4 for three different types
of cards?

Just my 0.02 EUR...

Jacques.
