	I probably would use my favorite excuse : blame it on the
firmware.
	The stats available in the firmware are not enough to know
those things. The only things you may want to look at is the number of
short and long retries, this is the only way I could see the firmware
behaving differently when using RTS.
	Can you find an Aironet card to put as a test partner ? The
stats out of the Aironet firmware are pretty exhaustive and would tell
you all those details.
