hi andrew!

the d-link dwl520 works fine on my old 586 mainboard (gigabyte
GA586ATS from 1996), which has a PCI2.1 controller from intel.

this is what my logs say:
- ---
Oct 28 16:50:08 router kernel: PCI: PCI BIOS revision 2.10 entry at 0xfb620,
last bus=0
Oct 28 17:35:35 router kernel: wlan0: Intersil Prism2.5 PCI: mem=0xe1001000,
irq=10
- ---

other reports of it working in PCI2.1 boards are in the updates-section of
this page:
http://www.personaltelco.net/index.cgi/DlinkDwl520

the new linux-wlan-ng FAQ (v0.1.16-pre7), which i think is the source of this
rumor, is updated with this information.
