Looks like your kernel modversions have not been fully updated.
include/linux/modules/netsyms.ver should have defined that
__ver_wireless_send_event to something like e8c62182. How did you
updated your kernel to 2.4.20? Did you run 'make dep' before compiling
the new version? You would need to regenerate that netsyms.ver file to
get things working properly.
