BBC has added password controls to iPlayer

Are you sure that it's from today? The iPlayer website says:

You'll soon need to sign in to watch

which suggest that it's something that's coming soon, rather than applying 
with immediate effect.

No mention of it on the iPlayer Radio site at all.
