I have also downloaded the first two minutes of Peaky Blinders, b09j0hxs, at 
DVFhd.  That also worked correctly.

The clue may be in the speed of your machine.

As well as separating the two files in the unlink statement at 5988 you 
could try inserting a delay between them as Ralph suggested.
