That's an interesting article.  I guess the question is how far out of sync 
sound and vision can be before it becomes noticeable, and the answer is 
probably different for an orchestra than a face speaking.  A bass drum or 
cymbal could be the biggest challenge.  A 1s gap is likely to be a problem, 
but if it is just a 6ms drift that is a lot less than 1 frame.  Anyway it is 
probably easier just to take the HD from satellite or Freeview.
