Get_iplayer install problem

Hi

I've been using get_iplayer for a few years, it's wonderful and I thank all 
who have put in so
much work.

I needed to reinstall it on my Windows XP computer and so downloaded the 
latest version (v2.94)
a few days ago, but on running the get_iplayer setup I keep getting a 
"Download failed" message
when it attempts to fetch the ffmpeg and rtmpdump components and tells me it 
is a "SendRequest Error"

Is this an error by my computer or the installer ?
