This is crucial. Formerly, passing zero to stop was not an issue, but 
now it IS. My script, when finding --stop empty, is now passing a value 
signifying 60 hours. This solves the problem.

Curiously iirc, even with --debug the 'bad value' (zero) for --stop is 
not flagged as an issue.
