Ladies and gentlemen,

Seems it was my SOCKS5 tunnel after all. My apologies for the noise.

Subject: Help with a program reporting no 'default' version available

To all the good GiP users,

Recently, I tried to rip the program 'Today At Conference: 2015 - Conservative - Wednesday' [1] using GiP v2.94 on my Linux system (Slackware 14.1) (what can I say, I'm a politics geek :-)). However, I started getting the following message:

While I _am_ outside the UK, I use a SSH tunnel to connect to a UK server, use libtocks to redirect the get_iplayer calls through the SOCKS5 tunnel (that's what those 'libtsocks' lines are from) and have been able (in the past) to rip iPlayer content. I have verified that my SSH tunnel is up and operational and reports me being in the UK. Taking a look at the 'info' for the program, it also reports no 'versions' available, but I've seen that before and have been able to rip the program (the same is true of the program, 'This Week', but I'm able to download that):

I've tried setting the 'modes' to 'best', 'flashvhigh1,flashvhigh2', 'flashhigh1, flashhigh2' and ripping directly from the URL [1], but no luck. Is there someway to force rtmpdump to rip it regardless (i.e., something I can add with '--rtmp-tv-opts')?

David
