Pick up from Download Completed?

Hi,
Is it possible to pickup from the "Download Completed" point?
I run get_iplayer on a Raspberry Pi using a NAS as the download location and
also processing the files there via SMB. Problem is the NAS is playing silly
B's and goes into a sulk after the download completes and the next avconv
stage eventually times out/gives up. The downloaded file should be complete
as the script had said fired up avconv...
I've looked through various pages of get_iplayer options but can't find
anything that looks likely. I've got several of these complete "partial"
programmes due to trying to work out what was going on. Seems daft to have
to download 'em all again.
Asking for the programme again is rejected as it's in the history file and
suggests --force. Using --force gets a complaint that the file exists and is
skipped. B-(
I thought I'd be sneaky and replace rtmpdump with a bash script that just
returns a 0 exit code. After emulating the --help response so that gip knows
rtmpdump's capabilties that didn't work either or maybe it objected to
getting the help text at that point? Adjusts that, nope still skips.
Actually it doesn't look like it's getting as far as firing up rtmpdump to
try and download/resume before deciding to skip the programme.
Removed the programmes entry in the history file, still skips. Adds --force
still skips.

Cheers
Dave.
