Difficulties downloading a couple of programmes - help please!

The problem I'm about to describe is affecting two programmes I was 
hoping to download, BOTH of which are playing normally in BBCs iPlayer 
and can be saved and played in BBC iPlayer Downloads without difficulty.

The programmes in question are from yesterday (Saturday 8th November) on 
BBC1, namely Saturday Kitchen 8-11-14 (PID b04pg8sy) and Strictly Come 
Dancing S12 week 7 (PID b04plqm3). Both programmes seemed to be skipped 
by the PVR so I investigated using the command line.

Here's what happens with Saturday Kitchen:
get_iplayer --type=tv --tvmode=best --get "Saturday Kitchen"

The output was:

So, as suggested I tried:
get_iplayer --type=tv --modes=flashaacstd --get "Saturday Kitchen"

This time the result was:

So then I tried:
get_iplayer --type=tv   --modes=rtspaacstd --get "Saturday Kitchen"

this produced:

The result was a zero byte aac file and no jpg. The same result was 
obtained trying --modes=flashaacstd,rtspaacstd together!

I'm stuck, can anyone throw any light on where I'm going wrong please?
