confirm & excessive bounces

Received a message from get_iplayer-request at lists.infradead.org starting:

"Your membership in the mailing list get_iplayer has been disabled due
to excessive bounces The last bounce received from you was dated
31-Oct-2014"

Anyone any suggestions as to what in particular is being bounced and if there's any way I can tell yahoo not to bounce?
