There was enough in earlier post to see that no additional error 
messages were generated by rtmpdump.  Tip for the future: don't push 
such a huge spew into everyone's inbox.  Upload to Pastebin or similar 
site and post the link.

iPlayer site working in browser doesn't mean get_player will work.

All the reports to date appear to come from Unblock-us users, so it's 
possible that they have screwed something up.  Until someone tests using 
a different service and reports the result, there is no way to know. 
Given the lack of squawks about this, Unblock-us as culprit remains a 
distinct possibility.
