Just podcasts producing unplayable files

Dear fellow users,

I have been happily using get_iplayer with the WebPVR front end for a
while, for getting radio only, but have noticed recently that all the
podcasts now produce an unplayable file, whereas the standard radio
programming that you have to stream, records fine. Every podcast
appears to download fine, no error messages. Here's an example:

I have a weird feeling it may have happened when I upgraded, but just
to rule that out I have uninstalled, then reinstalled everything and
still no joy (I'm on Windows 8.1 Pro, using the latest version of
get_iplayer v2.86).

Also, since I'm asking, does anyone know a good way of framing a
search in my PVR list, so it only gets podcasts from after a certain
date, no matter what I try, I can't seem to get it to work. Certain
items such as desert island discs can cause rather a lot of podcasts
to get downloaded otherwise.

Any help appreciated!

Leroy
