Seriously? You repeat the *entirety* of *two* messages, *and* the digest
header indicating that you should edit your Subject line to be more
specific, which you ignored *except* to quote it, and you post one line
of your own at the top?

I am now going to disable digests for the list. There's no real point in
them these days; bandwidth for email is cheap, and it's hardly difficult
for people to have list mail automatically filtered into a separate
folder if they don't want a lot of it polluting their inbox. And they
make it almost impossible to reply correctly and preserve threading.

There were a whole bunch of people who *were* using the digests though,
probably just because it's easier than doing the filtering on the client
side. But it does encourage *extremely* bad behaviour, and yours was the
last straw. Those people who were receiving digests will no longer be
receiving email from the list until they manually switch themselves to
non-digest mode. And they know who to blame :)
