 Ah.... I was instinctively putting a space after the commas:

EastEnders, BBC Weather, Eggheads, Escape to the Country,
...which doesn't work, but:

However,
East,BBC Weather,Eggheads,Escape to the Country,
...does work.

That's why I couldn't make it work when I tried before.
