Well spotted.  That was one of numerous candidates I noticed in the 
ffmpeg repo history, but I had no way to test, so no clue.  That 
particular change is definitely missing from the libav repo, so 
hopefully we can stick a fork in this one (until 2017 anyway).  Thanks 
for getting to the bottom of the issue.
