Downloading fails for certain URLs

does somebody from the enlighted part of the audience has an idea, why this 
command fails:

I must be missing something essential..

Unfortunately the command fetched from rtmpsrv with adjusted -C argument 
behaves the same way, hence I may need to ask there. Let me know your opinion.

I'm using cloned versions of git://git.ffmpeg.org/rtmpdump and 
git://git.infradead.org/get_iplayer.git from today here.
