  Yes, snapshot  get_iplayer-2.82-git-fa7d46f works nicely! :-)
The following command:
get_iplayer --type=tv -i --pid=b01ns1cv --versions=default2 --modes=flashvhigh 
 --force
does indeed record the short 20min edition of the programme:
