Hi all,
finally got time to play round more with Debian & get-iplayer
It was easy :)
I have used Software Centre (in System - Administration)
searched for mplayer and there it was
download/stream available BBC iPlayer TV and radio programmes
one click to install it (v2.78-2) and its working.
I have then updated to 2.80 from
https://github.com/dinkypumpkin/get_iplayer/wiki/instructions
by downloading
https://github.com/dinkypumpkin/get_iplayer/raw/master/get_iplayer
and copying it to /usr/bin directory.
All working fine apart from this error msg. while downloading:
ERROR: HandleCtrl: Ignoring SWFVerification request, no CRYPTO support!
but fixed it by installing rtmpdump (v2.3-2) via Software Centre as well.
I can use get_iplayer as well as get-iplayer command from the console,
but unable to get
the WEB PVR running :(
I get error msg:
user1 at debian:~$ perl get_iplayer.cgi --port=1935
--getiplayer=/usr/bin/get_iplayer
Can't open perl script "get_iplayer.cgi": No such file or directory
Can anyone help please?
Thanx in advance.
