Availabilities of get_iplayer under OS other than Win and Linux

If there's a "standard Linux install" that's built for ARM, includes all the 
necessary device drivers for the tablet's sensors etc., and you can find a 
way to re-flash the built-in OS with it, then it might work.  Search the net 
for "debian" and the tablet's manufacturer/model and see if anything comes 
up.

As for a terminal prompt, http://tinyurl.com/645resj is one option.
