Two Versions of FFmpeg installed!!!

The cron job will typically execute in a different environment than you 
have in your login shell, unless you otherwise set it up.  You can find 
information ad nauseam on that subject via the net.  I would guess the 
cron environment was simply operating with a different PATH set.
