downloading video clips from the bbc news website

have checked the archive, no sign of anything on news clips, so here goes

i use a lot of the news clip videos off the bbc site for work (often dont have internet accss, so useful to have the downloaded clip)

the url's of the page used to be ...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/8547940.stm

and are now of the format ..

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11518501

have tried several variations of the url, and work arounds using the get_iplayer commands to no avail

anyone have any ideas?
