Apple G5 tower

Hi all,
Recently a G5 tower fell into my hands. I was hoping to install Fedora
on it. I found that F13 has not been built for ppc/ppc64. I have read
that someone was trying to setup a build environment for Fedora, but I
haven't seem much discussion about it. 
I suppose I could put this beast on the Internet and install koji and
see if people will help me get a viable Fedora release going.
Anyone know what the current status is?
