Hi all.

Well, I tried this morning the installation of FC4 after reading
gentoo documentation about partitioning scheme in ppc. The
information I could understood was that the first partition in the
partitioning process must be numbered 2 (for example, /dev/sda2)
instead of /dev/sda1. The partitioning tool in anaconda create
partitions starting with number 1, and I think this is confusing for
openfirmware and/or yaboot in the installation/booting process.

After creating the partitions scheme from a gentoo live-cd, with mac-
fdisk, i installed succesfully FC4 in my iMac G5. Well, the problems
started with the first runnning wizard. When the wizard show the
sound devices and click on test the hardware, the system hangs. After
this, I booted one more time FC4, and passed the wizard without
touching nothing ;-). And then I reboot.

The rhgb works fine and finish the booting process with the greeter/
gdm screen, but... no keyboard, no mouse detected. Well, this is far
far away than the first attempt to install FC4 I made, but, the
graphical environment is now the problem. I have a apple keyboard and
mouse (one click mouse).
