kernel update, how?

Last night I updated my kernel-2.6.9-1.667 to kernel-2.6.10-1.729_FC3 via up2date (yum) from:
ftp://ftp.linux.org.uk/pub/people/dwmw2/fc3-kernel-ppc/

Then I yabootconfig using the new /boot/vmlinuz-*. Upon reboot, it got stuck on the SELinux lines.

It was the first time I updated the kernel and I might have missed something. Can any one provide step-by-step instructions of what to do after installing the new kernel w/ up2date?
