So, finally upgraded the laptop from the .541 (2.6.8) to the latest:

Linux hermione.soho.bytebot.net 2.6.9-1.649 #1 Fri Oct 29 00:32:56 EDT
2004 ppc ppc ppc GNU/Linux

Now, pmud from dwmw2's tree (built on FC2) installs fine, and the
following is what I get in /var/log/messages (and no, my laptop doesn't
sleep now):

Nov 1 11:36:08 hermione pmud[11535]: pmud [treshold = 420, margin = 15]
startedNov 1 11:36:08 hermione pmud[11535]: PMU version 12: iBook/G3
Pismo/G4 TitaniumNov 1 11:36:08 hermione pmud[11535]: daemon stopped
(parent exiting [note PID])Nov 1 11:36:08 hermione pmud: PMU version
12: iBook/G3 Pismo/G4 Titanium
Nov 1 11:36:08 hermione pmud: pmud startup succeeded
Nov 1 11:36:08 hermione pmud[11536]: running /etc/power/pwrctl maximum
ac
Nov 1 11:36:08 hermione kernel: hda: Set PIO timing for mode 0, reg:
0x1090032b

So, I rebuilt it based on the src.rpm, and that fails too:

Nov 1 11:39:28 hermione pmud[11639]: pmud [treshold = 420, margin = 15]
startedNov 1 11:39:28 hermione pmud[11639]: fcntl(F_SETFL)
Nov 1 11:39:28 hermione pmud[11639]: daemon stopped (fcntl(F_SETFL))
Nov 1 11:39:28 hermione pmud: pmud startup failed

This is me testing on an iBook 2.2 g3, with definite sleep support
previously (well, on-and-off, but it worked). Anyone else played with
it?

Thanks
