Should the maintainers file be removed?

It starts with this:

# For any board without permanent maintainer, please contact            #
#       Wolfgang Denk <wd at denx.de>                                      #
# and Cc: the <barebox-Users at lists.sourceforge.net> mailing lists.      #

But then it continues with a number of boards that are not
currently supported, nor maintained by the people listed (I suppose).
