ssb_err is only in wireless-next, it was added in this commit:

    ssb: Convert ssb_printk to ssb_<level>

This version should go into wireless-next for kernel 3.10 and an other
version using ssb_printk(KERN_ERR PFX " instated should go into 3.9 and
stable.
