Tracking failed transmissions - a problem

Hi All,

I was trying to monitor failed transmissions (e.g., not 
acknowledged ones) in AD-HOC mode in ath9k_htc driver. I 
failed, so then I tried with the new open firmware. It 
seems to me that - for some reason - the 
WMI_TXSTATUS_EVENT always indicates the acknowledged 
transmission (ATH9K_HTC_TXSTAT_ACK flag is always set).

Could you please help me with explaining this issue?

I consider one of the following reasons:
  - I do something wrong, or
  - the firmware does not support tx feedbacks, or
  - my device does not support this (TP-LINK, 
TL-WN722N)...
