uart interface issues

Hello all,

i was playing with dbg-api and uart interface for some time now.
There is still one issue what i can't fix. If some thing stay connected 
to Rx pin on start of adapter, it wont start. Or at least not from first 
time. Even short piece of cable is enough to get trouble. I tried to add 
resistor and plus pull down resistor - without results.
Do you have same results?
