Build is broken

Yup, I just reset my git tree to a clean checkout (whilst leaving
toolchain/ in place) and I've replicated this build issue.

The 'obj/' directories are missing. The build setup should be adding
them. I don't know why it isn't yet.

Please file an issue and I'll make sure this gets fixed ASAP.
