[PATCH aiaiai 0/2] More bug fixes

These two patches should apply cleanly pre and post my large 11 patch series
regarding the email hook. THe first patch modifies all of the commands to use
fail_usage instead of die when failing due to incorrect number of arguments.
The second patch modifies the apply_patch function so that it will prefix the
git diff with '> ' in order to prevent tools like patchwork from seeing a patch
inside the reply.
